Sobre o que é Arc The Lad?
O anime se inicia com Elk, um garoto de 14 anos com um passado conturbado e que trabalha como caçador de recompensas, visando um dia encontrar Arc (o qual julga responsável pela destruição de sua vila) e um lugar chamado White House. A história parte do ponto no qual o mundo é protegido por vários espíritos, cada um representando um elemento. Os espíritos são responsáveis pela proteção do mundo em relação às forças das trevas. No início, os espíritos viviam em harmonia com os seres humanos, mas com o decorrer do tempo, a humanidade deixou de ouvir sua voz, passando a evoluir à própria maneira.
