Waar gaat Thunderbirds 2086 over?
Thunderbirds 2086 is een Japanse anime-serie die losjes geïnspireerd is op de originele Gerry Anderson Supermarionation-serie Thunderbirds. De serie werd in het Engels nagesynchroniseerd door ITC Entertainment, het oorspronkelijke bedrijf dat Thunderbirds produceerde, maar wordt niet officieel erkend als onderdeel van de Thunderbirds-canon, omdat Gerry of Sylvia Anderson er niet bij betrokken waren. Desondanks bevat de Engelse kopie van de serie muziek en geluidseffecten uit Anderson's series Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Joe 90, UFO en Space:1999. Er werden in totaal 24 afleveringen geproduceerd, maar in 1982 werden er slechts 18 op Fuji TV vertoond.
