고지식한 젊은 연방 보안관 스콧 터너는 침흘리개 개 후치를 상속받고, 그의 삶은 완전히 뒤바뀐다. 스콧의 새 애완견은 짜증 나지만, 범인 체포나 연애, 심지어 아버지의 비밀스러운 마지막 사건 수사에도 도움이 된다.
