Along the way, they're aided by Uncle, Jackie's eccentric yet brilliant uncle, whose ancient knowledge and mystical expertise often prove to be the key to defeating dark forces.

Unbeknownst to Iso, Jade follows him through a time portal on his return trip to the future and runs into her older self. Young Jade is shocked and disappointed to learn that adult Jade has so easily accepted the punishment of being demoted from field agent to desk duty at Section 13.
