Worum geht es in The Good Doctor?
Dr. Martin Blake sehnt sich bereits sein ganzes Leben lang nach Ablenkung. Dies ändert sich, als die 18-jährige Diane mit einer Niereninfektion in dem Krankenhaus eingeliefert wird, in dem der junge Arzt praktiziert. Durch die neue Patientin erfährt Martin endlich das von ihm so lang ersehnte Selbstwertgefühl. Doch als es Diane wieder besser geht, greift Martin zu drastischen Mitteln, um sie nicht zu verlieren. Er gibt ihr Medikamente, die sie nicht gesund machen, sondern die Genesung verhindern. Die Situation eskaliert, als ein Pfleger Martin ertappt und erpresst.
